in the winter storm, one looks for a hiding place.
in the tempest sea, one searches for safe haven.
in the darkned night, one longs for the star light.
in the sun scroched land, one runs for an oasis.
when there is no room
in a hiding place,
in a safe haven,
in the light of the stars
in the oasis
when there seem to be no room for such a soul,
doubt, and fear
worry and uncertainty
guilt and pain
and one is losing ground.
the heart's cry, there is no more passion,
the eye looks, there is no more vision,
the strength sigh, there is little strength.
Listen ...
Moses has a staff in his hand to face the Pharoah of Egypt, he was a shepherd for 40 years in the desert or wilderness.
David has a staff, a sling and 5 stones to face Goliath, a warrior but he was a shepherd.
A little boy, 5 fishes and 2 loaves to feed 5,000 yet placed in the hand of Jesus, fed 5000 more.
What is the voice whispering to your soul?
Listen again,
the little strength,
the little talent,
the little supply,
the little strength is more than enough for the day,
the litte talent is more than able to toil for the day,
the little supply is more than sufficient for the day,
Though
the winter storm is there,
the tempest sea is there,
the darkned night is there,
the sun scroched land is there,
You will have the strength to walk through them all,
when you believe,
possessing faith,
walk by faith,
each day,
remembering those you love,
and recalling those who love you,
you will come forth trhough them all as gold.
How?
You will discover beyond the how, day by day.
And somehow,
you will find a hiding place, in the presence of the winter storms.
harbour at a safe haven, in the midst of the storms.
star lights up your direction, in the midst of darkness.
an oasis in the midst of the sun scorhed land.
When?
Just like a seed,
fallen into the ground,
rest and work,
work and rest,
in the fullness of time,
it will sprout,
it will blossom,
it will bear fruit,
30, 60 and 100 fold
When?
Just in time.
