When the last word is silence

when the last word is silent,
last word of your father,
last word of your mother,
when his last word is silent,
when her last word is silent,

it is in the silent of the heart,
it is in the silent of the soul,
it is in the silent of the mind,
in the midst of the crowd,
in the midst of the discussion,
in the midst of the feast,
one'e heart is broken,
one's heart is filled with tears,
one's heart is alone,
one's heart is shattered,
one's heart is silent.

there is no 'what if...'
their body laid under the earth,
they laid in rest
they rest in peace

is it so?
do they rest in peace?
is it just an illusion?
is it just a delusion?
is it just a diversion?

how can one have rest in one's heart?
how can one have rest in one's soul?
how can one have rest in one's mind?
when there is the silence of the last word from them.

move on, move on, move on...

in the unguarded moment,
in the twilight zone,
in the lost of lives,
one's heart quantum leaps to the silence of the last word,
one's mind wander,
did the he who loved me have rest when he thought about me before he lost consciousness?
did the she who loved me have rest when she though about me before she lost consciousness?

i beg thee, tell me not what ye think...
pain of the heart,
lost of the heart,
is too personal.
just listen...
just listen...
just listen...
till one speak no more about it...
and speak not when one is silent...
because the one listening to the voice of the silence
what, ye may say?
voice of the silence?
yea, the voice of the silence...
for it is in the stillness of the silence...
the Creator whispers

do i make sense?
i have written the whisper of my heart,
where i heard not the last word of my late father and late mother
just listen,
please...
